Prince William has warned Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor he will not shield him from further fallout if additional allegations surface following disturbing claims made to the FBI by a British accuser.
A source told Heat World that the heir believes the institution has “already paid more than enough” for Andrew’s mistakes and is no longer prepared to absorb the damage.
The warning follows a victim statement given to US federal investigators alleging abuse parties linked to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell.
According to News Nation, the accuser claims they were drugged and taken to paedophile ring gatherings between the ages of six and eight. The statement alleges they were brought to a residence later known to have been Frogmore Cottage, where men including Andrew watched while Maxwell “tortured and abused” them.
The victim claims Maxwell broke their nose during an assault after an escape attempt, with the injury later explained away following a rugby match.
The insider said William’s position was straightforward — that someone with nothing to hide does not dodge the FBI, avoid UK police or hide behind lawyers and silence. Instead, they sit down and answer questions.
However, there is no indication Andrew intends to cooperate, with reports suggesting he is “digging his heels” on the matter.
While William cannot compel his uncle to act, the source said he was doing everything in his power to force the issue.
The days of turning a blind eye would not continue on William’s watch, the insider added.
