Police in Swindon are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a 17-year-old girl who has not been seen since early Friday morning, and are urging anyone with information about her whereabouts to come forward immediately.
Ashleigh, from the Liden area of Swindon, was last seen at approximately 7am on Friday 20 March. She has now been missing for three days, prompting officers to launch an urgent public appeal.
The teenager is described as approximately 5ft tall with blonde hair. Investigators believe she may have travelled to the Stroud area, and are keen to hear from anyone in that vicinity who may have seen her or has information that could help locate her.
A spokesperson for Swindon Police said: “We are urgently appealing for information regarding the whereabouts of a teenager from Swindon. Ashleigh, 17, from Liden, has not been seen since approximately 7am on Friday and we are concerned about her welfare. It is possible she may have travelled to the Stroud area.”
Anyone who believes they may have seen Ashleigh or knows of her current whereabouts is asked to contact Swindon Police as soon as possible with any information that could assist the search.
